Blizzard Entertainment Inc., makers of the Warcraft, Diablo, and StarCraft game franchises announced that the much-awaited action role-playing game Diablo III, will be available on May 15, 2012.

The gaming company also kicked off the global digital presales for the Diablo III game this week, and Diablo gamers can reserve their digital game copies via the Blizzard official Battle.net website.
According to the press release posted at Blizzard website on March 15, 2012, the Diablo 3 game will be available for purchase starting May 15, 2012 at retailer stores throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau.
â€œAfter many years of hard work by our development team and months of beta testing by hundreds of thousands of dedicated players around the world, weâ€™re now in the homestretch,â€ said Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment.
â€œWe look forward to putting the final polish on Diablo III over the next two months and delivering the ultimate action-RPG experience to gamers worldwide starting on May 15,â€ added Mr. Morhaime.
In Diablo III, gamers can choose between the five heroic characters â€” barbarian, witch doctor, wizard, monk, or demon hunter, and engage in combat with endless legions of evil.
Gamers from Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil can also avail of Diablo 3 game digital copy via Blizzardâ€™s Battle.net website. Digital availability for the Diablo 3 Russian version will be offered beginning June 7, 2012.
Blizzard announced in their website that they will be having a StarCraft 2 Free Play Weekend this November 19 to November 21, 2010. Starcraft 2 Free Play Weekend will enable players from Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand to play Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty for free during this period.

Blizzard confirms Mist of Pandaria as the fourth expansion of World of Warcraft.
Blizzard filed for a trademark for Mists of Pandaria at the United States Trademark and Patent Office last July 28, 2011.
